Teen Review: Disney Movies

Disney Movies by MB

Disney movies in general are very good in terms of watching a movie with your family and getting a good lesson out of it. If you readers don;t get what I'm saying or don't agree with me, keep reading and this may change your mind. Also, if you are reading this and say these movies are for little kids, I can see how you feel that way with the magic and fairy tale creatures, but trust me, they are great movies.

For example, the movie "The Lion King" was such a good movie. It was such a good father son lesson throughout the story and the lesson of having friends back you up was also there. This movie was also sad and may make you cry if you watch it. But don't worry, I won't spoil the movie so you can watch it for yourselves. Another movie that shows friendship and father son relationships has to be "Finding Nemo."I can only say that this movie is one of my favorites. It was so strong with having your father/family member always there to protect you, and having friends supporting you.

If this isn't enough to convince you that Disney movies are great, then don't worry, I have more movies to talk about to convince you. "Ratatouille" was also a great movie made by Disney because on your confidence and figment of imagination to help you great through problems that you face. This movie always shows the way friends are there to support you throughout your problems. The movie "The Princess and the Frog" was also a great Disney movie because it was based on following your dreams with hard work to get you things you want.  This movie as well as others show the strong power that friendship and family have to support you to accomplish your dreams and follow them.

These must be good reasons to help you readers see that these movies are powerful with lessons. But if there still are people who don't agree, that's cool I sort of say the same things with some Disney movies because some of the magic isn't my type of movie. Disney over years has made great movies that show many valuable life lessons and help readers like Mickey, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Daisy, Goofy, Donald Duck, and other Disney characters, that's cool, so do I. These characters were part of the platform that expanded Disney into different paths of movies, characters, and many other ideas in my opinion. The movie "Steamboat Willie" I believe starred Mickey Mouse for the first movie that was great hit. In my opinion, Disney  movies are really good and those are great movies to watch with your family or by yourself.

8 YA BOOK CLUB BOOKS TO READ FOR GREAT DISCUSSIONS

Alice Nuttall   Sep 5, 2023 B ook clubs aren’t just a way to enjoy reading and branch out by trying books you wouldn’t have picked for yourself — they’re also a great way to get into discussions of multiple different subjects inspired by the reading you’ve done together. While book clubs can be beneficial to people of all ages, they can be a particularly helpful place for teens to engage with new ideas, put their opinions forward, and take part in friendly discussions about everything from social issues to the writing process. I’ve been in a few book clubs over the years, and while I certainly haven’t loved everything I’ve read as part of them, it definitely led me to YA book club books I otherwise would never have tried and got me looking at a whole range of different perspectives. School is back in session for the autumn, and whether you’re an educator yourself or just want to help the teens in your life discover new books, a YA book club is a great way to get young people engage...

CLASSIC YA BOOKS THAT MADE YOU FEEL SEEN

K.W. Colyard   Jul 26, 2023 SPEAK   BY LAURIE HALSE ANDERSON I’m sure I’d heard of another book about rape before  Speak  came along. Hell, I might even have read one. But these days? This is the only book I can remember that dealt with one of the myriad possible reactions to sexual assault: silence.  Speak  and other books that deal with similar subject matter have the ability to empower victims of abuse to label what’s happened to them and seek help. ARE YOU THERE GOD? IT’S ME, MARGARET  BY JUDY BLUME Once a staple on banned books lists, Judy Blume’s most famous novel has been teaching preteens about puberty — including menstruation and boob exercises — since 1970.  Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret  was far ahead of its time, being one of the first children’s books to show an interfaith family on the page, and — along with Lois Lowry’s Anastasia Krupnik — depicted a child allowed to make up her own m...
