2- Another free resource is the College Board SAT practice site. This site helps with registration, understanding the format of the test, and setting up study groups, and it includes helpful posts about test-taking. The College Board has also teamed up with Khan Academy to create some amazing practice and test review components.

The College Board website offers six practice tests that students can download and take. After they complete a practice test, students can photograph the answer sheet with their smart phones and upload it to get their scores using the College Board SAT app for iOS and Android. The adaptive Daily Practice for the New SAT app can then set up daily practice questions in the four tested subjects.

3- Shmoop is another test prep tool.  For a fee, it offers great student support with diagnostic tests, review topics, drills, and four full practice exams. It is not only game-like, but the excerpts are written with humor and flavored with videos.

I urge you to take advantage of any of these resources for test preparation!

When your teen is out with friends, tired and ready to go home -- or just plain not liking the social scene -- it's difficult to say, "I'm tired, I'm going home." It's easier to say, "My curfew is 12:30. I'll be grounded if I'm not home soon." Despite this fact, you need to bear up as your son, like any self-respecting  teenager , will probably moan, stomp, and gripe while claiming, "None of my friends have curfews. You're a control freak." Let your son go on as such, it...
