James Patterson Writing Contest



Inspired by The Kiss, the latest entry in James Patterson’s #1 best-selling Witch & Wizard series:
Write a story, 500 words or less, about a relationship that no one approves of.
One grand-prize winner will receive a 16GB iPad mini, loaded with a full collection of James Patterson’s teen books (four Witch & Wizard books, eight Maximum Ride books, and the first in his new series, Confessions of a Murder Suspect), as well as $500 cash. Plus, the winning story will be featured on James Patterson’s young-adult website and the winner will get a personal Facebook shout-out from James himself!
All entries must be submitted by February 26, 2013 at 11:59:59 ET. 
Any time between now and March 11, 2013, at 11:59:59 ET, vote for your favorite stories by "hearting" them. You can heart as many stories as you like. The 200 most-hearted entries will be judged by James Patterson’s publisher, Little, Brown. One grand-prize winner will be announced in or around July 2013.
