Our Summer Reading Club is almost here. Registration begins Monday, June 23. The first 30 teens to register will receive a promotional gift from the upcoming movie "Earth to Echo." Will you be one of the 20 lucky teens that has  a $5 gift card to Charlotte's in their packet? You can only find out if you register! There'll be a Book Bingo sheet in your packet for a chance to win a special prize at the end of the Summer. Lastly, I am bringing back my reading challenge! If you as a group read 26,000 minutes at the end of the eight weeks of Summer Reading, I will dye my hair purple. Come down to the library on June 23 and sign up!

Do you like to write? Would you want to write a blog post for the Young Adult Service Division of the American Library Association? Overview: The Hub will feature posts written by teen bloggers during the week of October 12-18 in celebration of Teen Read Week (TRW). Teens aged 12-18 are eligible to participate. Interested teens will need to complete an online application form in order to be considered for the contest. The application deadline is August 1, 2014.
